Today morning started very early as I was set to arrive at the airport at 8 o’clock to… you guessed it – fly. Everything went smooth and we were in the air by 9 am. The last time I flew, I felt I needed some touch-and-goes to refresh my landing skills. So this morning we were planning to fly in the traffic circuit to refresh my skills. The morning was beautiful with the sun shining and the winds at 7 knots. The first circuits were a bit too fast for me as I tried to settle in. The next ones were a lot better and I felt in charge of the situation. The landings improved with every circuit and I felt more and more confident with the new plane. After the flight I felt great, as I really needed those circuits and I’ve been waiting to fly the whole week.
Some more paperwork and off to the class. I can really smell the spring outside and this means more and more flying. See you in the air!
